Parker Kent XML Flash Gallery

Parker Kent XML Flash Gallery is a good xml+Flash Gallery which is provided by Parker & Kent. The Gallery can be loaded into your flash project or it can be embedded into your html page, also multiple times, like we’ve made in this example.

All the gallery settings are managed by one xml file. The path to this xml file can be passed to the gallery through flash vars (in this way you can have multiple galleries with different settings in the same html page, check the index.html file); if you load this gallery into your flash project, the gallery will load automatically the file “xml/gallery_setings.xml” as default.

In the example we have provided we have used the gallery two times into the same html page. If you check the index.html file code, you will notice that we have passed through flash vars a different xml path to each gallery. We have passed “xml/gallery_settings_1.xml” to the big gallery and “xml/gallery_settings_2.xml” to the small one. So, as you can see, we are using different settings with the same gallery swf (you don’t need to create a new swf for every gallery).
